Get Involved — Be a Volunteer!
When adults volunteer, all students benefit! Volunteers make our school strong and provide a great learning experience for our kids. We want you to be a part of our team! There are many opportunities for parents and community members to get involved. Every effort is appreciated!
A few ways you can contribute:
Head up a committee or spearhead a new effort at the school
Work from home on projects.
Volunteer in your child's classroom.
There are two steps to volunteering at MHES.
Step One: Become a Calvert County Public School APPROVED Volunteer.
All Volunteers / Chaperones Must Be Pre-Approved to volunteer onsite. If you have not been approved please complete the Online Volunteer Application. Paper applications are also available.
NOTE: Effective August 2016, all those wanting to volunteer must RE-APPLY for approval each school year. Click here to begin the CCPS Online Volunteer Application process.
Step Two: Complete the MHES Volunteer Form (hard copy or online)
We will be using the PTA website to contact volunteers via email when opportunities arise. Please fill out the MHES Volunteer form to be added to our email list. Only those that complete the MHES Volunteer Form will receive emails about volunteering.
Want to learn more about ways you can volunteer? Check out our Volunteer Opportunities page.
The PTA is grateful for all the efforts of our volunteers. Without your generous help, the additional programs and improvements the PTA has contributed to MHES simply would not be possible. Any amount of time you can volunteer will be greatly appreciated.
Complete the Volunteer Interest form and we will be in touch with you.
