If your child would like to participate in a club during the 2nd quarter, please complete and return the club registration form to their homeroom teacher by Friday, October 27th. The chess club does not have a limit as to how many students may participate; however, the 2nd grade Lego Robotics (20 students), Scrabble (30 students), Green Team (30 students), and EV3 (15 students) are capped at the noted number of students. Clubs will be filled as registrations are received. If your child is not selected for a club this quarter, they will have priority for clubs during the 3rd and 4th quarters. We will notify your child by Friday, November 3rd if they are selected for a 2nd quarter club. If your child will be participating in a 2nd quarter club, the club fee payment deadline will be Wednesday, November 8th. Clubs can be paid for by cash or check (make checks payable to MHES, the check must a local MD, VA, DC check).
